An Elegy of Veiled Tears (Re-edited)

Of love transcendent, and the loved ones lost,

Retrospect, we navigate the cost,

Where grief's vast ocean whispers evermore,

For hearts that've tread this sombre shore.

In every verse, a silent, heartfelt tear,

An elegy for what the heart held near,

As love entwines, in fleeting moment lies,

Futility unveiled in muted cries. 

A river winding through the veils we sow,

Sorrow's cascade, tears unseen in the flow,

Yet death, that final dance , stark and cold,

Mocks us all and the lessons foretold. 

And death remains, our final circumstance,

We grasp at phantoms in the yearning chance.

A dance of moments in sorrow's stronghold,

In rhythmic sway, life's pain unfolds.

Reflecting on a journey through the surge,

The heart, once whole, now resonates a dirge.

A requiem whisper'd, an echoing pain,

The moonlight rises, a melancholic strain.

Navigating realms where memories flee,

Through echoes of a silent plea.

A tale of love, now lost and done, 

Shadows weep, where threads of sorrow spun.
