Colours Within

The shades of me
I thought I'd lost,
Were found buried
Deep within
With the slightest stir
Of the colours of emotion,
They bubbled up through
The murky layers
The constant pull of
The black and the white
Had turned my mind into
A greyish mess
The misty veil of the
Monotonous grey had
Rendered me blind to
The world of colours
The piercing light from
Your eyes
Cleared a path in
The murky grey
And as I said
They bubbled up
And gushed as tears from
My blinded eye
Never once, had I
Ever thought
I'd meet the one
Who'd colour my world
These tears are
My heart pouring out,
Pouring out into
Your arms, my love.
