Echoes of Innocence

My youth memories softly lingered
Fearless, and spirited was I.
Amidst my lovable,
Resting in light’s gentle embrace
Amid hues unveiled.
In me, knowledge lies dormant,
Veiled by innocence.
No commitments, No agony
And a simple routine.
Grown up, I rue,
The words that slipped off my tongue,
“When will I grow?”.
Missing my youthful times and
My innocence,
Far gone now.
Nurture your child self,
As you mature.
Else you end up mourning for those,
Bygone days of yours.
As paint’s hue fades with time,
We too fade.
But not too late,
When you restore your memories.
Renovate and repaint the echoes from your past,
For your eternal solace.
