How pathetic is it to realize you're in love
long after she is gone into the abyss where there's no above,
How pathetic is it to let go of a bride-to-be,
while she waited forever for you to get on a knee,
How pathetic is it to find out
that you fell for those lips that pout,
How pathetic is it to find out
that you can dive deep into those eyes filled with love without a doubt,
How pathetic is it to break her heart,
while all she wanted was you to be half her heart,
How pathetic is it to let go of that daring soul,
daring enough to walk out of your life; burying her feelings, that's just foul,
How pathetic is it to realize how much of an overkill her love for you was,
now all you can do is sit alone and burden your heart, filled with rue.
