at the edge of green grassy fields
On the tree, with the crown of green canopy
many insects and caterpillars live in guilds
For each new born, environment is groupy
The small twigs of tall tree are bent
The greenery of each leaf is eaten unevenly
small cocoons are swinging without rent
The eaters are caterpillars, crawling blissfully
Not all caterpillars are aware of their lifecycle
They eat lush greenery and pack into cocoon
and turn into butterfly that is nature's miracle
roam round a flower before migrating soon
One young caterpillar was unwilling
To undergo this change and process
Life inside cocoon was threatening
This was reason to avoid the flying access
Metamorphosis was his life's part
So it wasn't accepted to deny in rage
refusal was not towards nature's art
It was towards the few days in cage
He saw others making salivary prison
as the time passes, he realised his standing
If he still denies he would remain only one
So he steps forward with little trembling
His step was appreciated by courage
He bravely starts making cocoon
he is ready to live few days like a sage
Now he is inside, and will come out soon
prison breaks with the emergent of wings
Which are his own and colourfull
It is the gift for his nature which he swings
To courageous from fearfull
