The bride walks in,
wrapped in silk,
tresses adorned with perfumed petals,
daydreaming of the groom --
considerate,
bringing her wishes to life,
the ones her parents promised:
Your husband will do it, go ask him.
He lifts his chin to see her,
thinking he's found a doll
to fulfill his pleasures,
to tangle in the wires
of his command.
