Unheard Cries

Hiding in the silence, rolling down the tears,
you weren’t able to escape that fear.
Behind the covers,
you thought nobody noticed those bulgy eyes and face
with smiling smears.
Gathering yourself again,
You walked down deep alone in the dark roads,
dared to face it again, but reared back in pain.
But just look at that you today,
way beyond that covers,
and runs the mile to shed the loads,
that you carried all way.
Accepted all the feelings not only to embrace it,
but geared them to healing.
You set the pace,
to find finally a breathing space.
As those unheard cries,
pasting out to dry,
Remember --
that shifts and cracks that you brought by today,
were at some point in time,
were carved by those unheard cries.
