Where Soul Still Meets

You're my soul, my silent light,
The thought that warms my coldest night.
Though life has placed us far apart,
You beat within my quiet heart.
We spoke in ways the world can't hear,
In glances soft, in falling tear.
No chains, no vows could hold us tight,
Yet loving you still feels so right.
We built a bond no time could fade,
In love that silence softly made.
But not all dreams are meant to stay,
Some love just blooms and walks away.
You're not beside me, yet you're near,
A part of me that won't disappear.
So walk your way, and I’ll walk too,
But know my soul still lives in you.
No fate, no time can break or bend,
What lives in hearts, will never end.
